The Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping, Babar Khan Ghauri, on Monday announced a township for officers and staff of Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) on National Highway. Speaking at a motorcycle distribution ceremony for the PNSC staff here, he said that he had direct the Port Qasim Authority (PQA) to provide a 200-acre piece of land for this purpose.
The ministry is waiting for land possession from Sindh government on National Highway, of which a pieced of 200 acres would be given for PNSC housing society. He urged the officers and employees not to sell their allotted land at the scheme at National Highway, but construct their own houses there.
