I wrote to the President of Pakistan on 18 June 2006 through website about what happened with me about 4 years ago, while safeguarding the precious funds earmarked for ex-serviceman and their families managed by Fauji Foundation.
During my 17 years service with Fauji Foundation I intimated to the then MDs, namely Lieutenant General (Retd) Maqbool and Lieutenant General (Retd) Syed Muhammad Amjad, cases of misadministration and Financial malpractices in different projects along with documentary evidences. No action taken during my service and I was prematurely retired from service with out any reason on 30 April 2003 at the close to the age of retirement.
Enquiries conducted after my retirement proved the involved persons guilty and removed from service. My retirement was totally unjustified keeping in view the fact that Fauji Foundation claimed to be a largest industrial/welfare group of Pakistan can easily adjust an officer (Accounts) in any project. I remained in correspondence, to get reappointment even on contract, with all concerned high ups of Ministry of Defence and Fauji Foundation but of no avail.
During the period vacancies advertised I applied but discriminatory attitude adopted and my request remained unnoticed. This may be a message to the honest and dedicated employees that adherence to the rules and regulation of the organisation is no more appreciated instead working according to the wishes of higher ups is liked. What ever is the loss to the organisation?
President of Pakistan was kind enough to order me to provide all supporting documents which I submitted on 03 September 2006 and awaits justice with a request to order my reappointment or proper compensation should have been given as per practice in vogue in Fauji Foundation. I am in serious financial problems.
I humbly request you to kindly publish the above in your newspaper at appropriate place to give moral support to an employee who lost his job while defending Fauji Foundation's Funds.
