Plan of action for women empowerment

The government is preparing a national plan of action for giving respectable place and empowerment to the women while a number of women welfare projects have been completed. Punjab Minister for Women Development, Ashifa Riaz stated this while talking to a representative delegation of women.
She maintained that Pakistani women were playing vital role in every sector and their services were being acknowledged at all level. She informed the delegation that the government was making efforts to make the nation educated.
"Mothers play an important and fundamental role in character building of nations", she added. She stressed upon the women to come forward and play their due role in every sector.
