Tech giant, Google in an announcement told that they have increased the size of attachments on Gmail with the maximum size raised from 25mb to 50mb.
Whilst sending and receiving attachments is a pivotal part of email exchanges, on their official blog Google announced that Gmail users would now be able to receive and send attachments of up to 50MB in their mails.
Beginning this week, Google will be facilitating Gmail users by letting up upload and attach items of up to 50MB in size. While Google Drive offers a convenient way to share files of any size, sometimes you need to receive large files as direct email attachments. So starting today, you will be able to receive emails of up to 50MB directly, Google announced in a blog post.
