The United Kingdom link co-ordinator of GCU-Strathclyde University, UK Ian Wooton is visiting GC University Lahore from 16 to 19 April. During his visit to the Department of Economics GCU, Ian Wooton would deliver special lectures on 'current state of debate in international trade, market structure in the service sector.
Imperfect competition and trade liberalisation, trade and competition policy with special reference to regional integration' and governments competition for foreign direct investment; winners and looser' during his stay at the university.
It is pertinent to mention here that GCU Lahore has not only established academic and collaborative research links with world's reputed research institutions but has also implemented these agreements practically in order to benefit from the centuries long scientific experiences of these institutions and Strathclyde University is one of them.
