The Federal Minister for Commerce, Humayun Akhtar Khan has invited the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), an apex body of chambers, to seek their proposals and amendments on Trade Organisation Ordinance (TOO) to make it beneficial for national economy.
co-chairman Businessman Panel, the largest alliance of traders in the country and former FPCCI Chief, Iftikhar Ali Malik told APP here Sunday that minister has extended invitation to Chairman of the panel, Tariq Sayeed, President FPCCI, Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh, and other top leaders of the federation to seek their proposals and amendments to make it effective and safeguarding the interests of the chambers in the larger national interest.
He said that a high level delegation of federation led by Tariq Sayeed and other key trade leaders had already met the Prime Minister at Islamabad on March 26 last and apprised him in detailed the reservations of the business community and all chambers on TOO.
