Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Food and Agriculture Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi will be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of three-day national workshop on "Food processing challenges and opportunities in Pakistan" at the main auditorium of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Jamshoro on April 23.
The first ever of its kind, the workshop is being organised by MUET Department of Chemical Engineering, according to a University spokesman. The workshop is being organised in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC). Prominent experts, academicians and researchers will share their views on food processing technology in the country.
The workshop aims to bring food growers, industry and researchers under one umbrella to discuss the challenges and formulate policy recommendations for the government, private sector and the non-government organisations of the country, the spokesman said.
