Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Tariq Azeem has said that every one should wait for the Supreme Judicial Council's verdict, which will be implemented. Talking to a private TV news channel (ARY) he said, reference against justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary is before Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) which is authorised to decide such cases.
The State Minister said, everybody has the right to record its protest on any issue but it should be in a democratic manner. There is now only one solution of the issue, which is wait for SJC verdict, and, "We should wait for the decision of SJC."
To a question he said, "We want to resolve issues through dialogue. That is why negotiations are continuing with various political and religious leaders."
"We will have no objection if Supreme Judicial Council decides about an open trial of the reference," he replied to a question. He said, political parties should not try to politicise an issue, which is purely judicial one. He said that if allegations levelled against Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary is proved baseless then, he will be reinstated.
