The trading on chemicals moved both ways on Jodia Bazar here on Monday. The following variations were noted.
CHEMICALS (Per kg): Caustic soda flakes Saudi moved up by Rs 2 at Rs 38, sodium sulphate edged higher by 50 paisa at Rs 9.30, NJ Taiwan went up by Rs 1.60 at Rs 125, formic acid Germany closed up by 65 paisa at Rs 54, oxalic acid China ended higher by Rs 3 at Rs 43 and citric acid China moved downward by Rs 2 at Rs 52.
PETROLEUM JELLY: Sulphonic acid soft finished higher by Rs 5 at Rs 78 and PVA Japan ended up by Rs 1.60 at Rs 160.
ACETIC ACID: Taiwan edged higher by Re 1 at Rs 66 and Korea moved up by Re 1 at Rs 66.
HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (35 percent): Taiwan ended down by 50 paisa at Rs 29 and Korea 5 percent went down by 40 paisa at Rs 28.60.
