Punjab Provincial Co-operative Bank limited (PPCBL) has started issuing loans to small farmers for the Kharif crop through co-operative societies.
The bank has allocated Rs 2.500 billion for this purpose, of which Rs 501 million has been allocated for Lahore zone, Rs 295 million for Gujranwala zone, Rs 70 million for Rawalpindi, Rs 161 million for Sargodha, Rs 392 million for Faisalabad, Rs 304 million for Bahawalpur, Rs 530 million for Multan and Rs 167 million for DG Khan zone.
