Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi head of PPPP Punjab, Qasim Zia Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly, Navid Chaudhry senior leader of the Party along with other activists took part in a protest rally agitating against religious extremism in the country here on Thursday.
The protest rally also participated by Asima Jhangir, chairperson, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan was present other activists of opposition parties. Asima Jhangir in the protest rally criticised the government for its uneven policies resulting into extremists getting into strength in the country.
PPPP leadership participating in the protest on the occasion demanded immediate with drawl of reference against Chief Justice Ifthikar Chaudhry. Participants shouted anti government slogans and reiterated continuity of their struggle till democratic struggle achieved its goals.
