Faulty phone lines: industrialists suffering huge losses

The Industrialists of Kahna Kachha Industrial Area are suffering a huge loss of millions of rupees as the hundreds of phone lines in the area are out of order for the last 10 days, putting at halt the whole communication including fax and email systems.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, President Kahna Kachha Industrial Association Mehmood Akhtar said that despite repeated complaints to the concerned authorities no action came from the department.
He said that the industrial areas were the biggest customers of the telephone department but their attitude was beyond one's perception. Mehmood urged the General Manager Operations (PTCL) Hafeez-ul-Islam to look into the matter and save the industrialists of the area from any further loss.
