Five coaches of 131-up Khanpur-Rawalpindi Rohi express derailed between Jan Muhammad Wala and Abdul Hakim railway stations on Wednesday. Railways control officials said that relief trains have been sent to the site to clear the track and put the derailed coaches on the main line.
Railway's officials from Multan and Abdul Hakim said that no casualty was reported in the accident. Trains have been re-routed on alternate lines; officials said adding that they would be requiring around four hours to clear the track for normal train operations.
