Federal Minister for Environment Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat on Thursday performed a centuries old ritual in Chakki Chung at Darbar Hazrat Shah Jewena, in District Jhang. Hailing from a renowned spiritual and political family of Pakistan, Faisal Saleh Hayat is the Sajjada Nasheen of Darbar Hazrat Shah Jewna.
The ritual heralds the beginning of Hazrat Shah Jewena's Urs on 10th May 2007 and in which thousands of devotees take part. The festivities will end on Rasm-e-Chiraghn on 10th May, says a message received from Jhang.
