The three-day long celebration of 109th annual Urs of spiritual mentor and a poet Hazrat Khawaja Ghulam Fareed will start from April 23 at his shrine at Kot Mithan, Rajanpur. The Punjab Auqaf Department has released a grant of Rs 150000 for Urs expenditures. 'Langer' will be distributed among the devotees during the Urs.
The celebrations will conclude on April 25, 2007, it has been learnt. Moreover, the provincial Auqaf Minister, Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah will formally inaugurate the 3-day long 379th Annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Shah Jamal Qadri by laying floral wreath on Saturday, April 21, after the Asr prayer.
