BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector. It closed at 5,294.50 with a net positive change of 4.82 points and percentage change of 0.09. The turnover for this sector was 52,894,600 shares. BR Cement Index was the second most active sector. It closed with a turnover of 45,634,600 shares. It saw a loss of -37.81 points or -2.32 percent, closing at 1,590.58.
BR Oil and Gas Index was the third most active sector. It closed with a turnover of 14,335,500 shares. It closed at 2,134.98 with a net negative change of -17.77 points or -0.83 percent. BR Tech. & Comm Index closed at 1,534.03 with a downward change of -7.1 points and percentage change of -0.46. The volume of this sector was 8,181,600 shares.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,415.16 with a negative change of -8.35 points or -0.59 percent. The turnover for this sector was 4,057,500 shares, which was the lowest among BR Indices.
