Avoiding transfer to CBR headquarters: action to be taken against officials

Tax authorities have decided to initiate disciplinary action against those tax officials who are reluctant to join 'CBR House, Islamabad' on their transfer and posting from field formations.
It is learnt that certain tax officials are reluctant to join CBR Headquarters despite issuance of transfer orders for the last one/two months. The CBR has taken serious notice of non-compliance by these tax officials and decided to take appropriate action against all those who are committing delaying tactics to avoid postings at CBR.
It has also been decided that the transfer/posting orders would not be reverted and field officials have to give joining order at the Board. The posting at CBR is considered to be less lucrative as compared to collectorates/commissionerates.
