EFU Life Assurance has earned Rs 109.133 million as profit after tax translating an earning per share of Rs 3.64 in the quarter ended on March 31, 2007, as compared to Rs 47.311 million PAT and an EPS of Rs 1.58 in the same period last year.
In a notice sent to the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) it was stated that the company's profit before tax was Rs 136.133 million in the period under review against Rs 71.511 in the same period in 2006.
The company's revenue stood at Rs 1283.942 million in this quarter as compared to Rs 1064.287 million in the same period previous year. Total expenses of the company stood at Rs 1181.691 in the three months of 2007, against Rs 995.488 million in the corresponding period last year.
