A farewell function was arranged by the students of Jinnah Islamia Group of Colleges Peco Road Township Lahore for those who have passed out from the college.
The guest speakers at the function were Professor Dr Irfan Amir from LUMS, Imran Saeed, Chartered Accountant and Ali Akbar, Chief Internal Auditor from SME Bank Islamabad.
The guests distributed cheques among the position holders. Shields were awarded to those students who showed excellent performance in games, quiz competitions, calligraphy, cooking and home management competitions.
While speaking on the occasion Dr Irfan Amir advised the students to work hard for their success. He urged the students to direct their abilities and skills towards a definite success. Imran Saeed, Chartered Accountant advised the students to focus on the success and not to compromise on studies.
The chairman of the college Muhammad Yousuf Mughal, while congratulating the prize winners advised the outgoing students to show excellent performance in the exams and become useful and successful citizens of the country. The outgoing students expressed great satisfaction on the education system of the institution.
