Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has posted after tax profit of Rs 4655.464 million translating an earning per share of Rs 6.79 in the quarter ended on March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 3810.184 million PAT and an EPS of Rs 5.55 in the same period last year.
In a notice sent to the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) it was stated that the company's profit before tax stood at Rs 6886.004 million in the period under review against Rs 5983.655 in the same quarter in 2006. The net sale of the company increased to Rs 10250.446 million in this period against Rs 8796.270 million during the same period previous year.
