Lawyers' community continued strike against the suspension of Chief Justice of Pakistan and did not appear before the courts for one hour besides holding hunger strike camps. The office bearers and senior bar members sat in the camps and expressed their determination to continue their struggle for independence of judiciary.
Adliya Bachao committee also held hunger strike camp in the Lahore High Court Bar Association where a number of political and human rights activists joined them. ABC also constituted a committee to welcome Chief Justice of Pakistan in the bar and announced to give him a shield to recognise his services for upholding and independence of judiciary.
