A member of Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has approached Lahore High Court with prayer to direct respondent federation of Pakistan to form an interim government headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan. The petitioner M D Tahir contended that the people of Pakistan have lost their confidence in present government.
Thus the forthcoming general elections should be held under some impartial government headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan. He said that interim government will hold fair and transparent polls within one year.
