A three-member Japanese parliamentarian's team headed by Shin Sakurai, member of the House of Councillors (Upper House) will arrive here on Monday (April 30th) on a five-day study tour of Pakistan. The invitation was extended by the Acting President, Mohammedmian Soomro.
The delegation, during its stay in Pakistan, is likely to call on the Acting President and Chairman Senate, Federal Minister for Health, Federal Minister for Population Welfare, Speaker Azad Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Culture, Sports and Tourism. It will also hold meetings with the Executive Director UNFA and JAICA representative at Islamabad and civil society organisations.
The delegation would also undertake visits to Taxila, Muzaffarabad and Chakwal. The delegation includes Ms Kayoko Shimizu Member of House of Councillors and Kenya Akiba, Member of the Japanese House of Representatives (Lower House).
