Sindh National Party (SNP) leaders Ashraf Noonari, Ashfaque Qadri, Akhtar Noonari, Mushtaq Memon and Shakil Gopang have said that issuance of land ownership rights to aliens and demolition of Sindhi Goths in Hyderabad should be halted with immediate.
Addressing a joint press conference here on Sunday, they said that SNP was struggling for the rights of Sindhis throughout the province. They charged that police had registered fake cases against their several leaders and activities on the behest of an ethnic party.
They said that various areas of Sindhis were being meted out step-motherly treatment as the Hyderabad district government had declared 22 Sindhi villages as illegal besides serving notices to their residents.
They said that protest rallies would be staged on May 3 in the city against these atrocities. They said a people's assembly would also be held on May 20 in Qasimabad.
