Lauding the services of Hamdard Foundation in the fields of health, education, literature and culture, Senator S M Zafar has said that services being rendered by Hamdard are matter of pride for the nation.
While addressing a function held in connection with 100-year celebrations of Hamdard, S M Zafar maintained that Hamdard Foundation under the leadership of late Hakim Mohammad Syed provided the platforms of 'Bazm-e-Hamdard Nounehal' and Hamdard Nounehal Assembly to promote positive thinking and abilities among the children.
He was of the view that the nations, which pay attention on their children, get respectable status in the comity of nations. He called for paying due attention on training and proper education of children to secure bright future of the country.
Dr M A Soofi, Major General (Retd) Khawaja Rahat Latif, Syed Ali Bokhari and Dr Miskeen Ali Hijazi also attended the function. Children presented different items including tableau, songs on the occasion.
