The Lahore High Court disposed of a petition after it failed to recover two deaf children and observed that if petitioner, the father of the minors finds any evidence or clue about his children from any quarters, he might file a petition before the concerned sessions judge.
The court while disposing of the petition observed that despite best efforts of this court, the sons of the petitioner could not be recovered. Since no clue has been provided by the petitioner, the matter can not be kept pending for an indefinite period. The Investigating Officer submitted that he had recorded the statements of all the suspects pointed out by the petitioner. He hinted at the fact that the petitioner also had enmity in his native town and an FIR was also registered against him.
According to the details Muhammad Rashid had approached the court for the recovery of his two real sons Gulfam 13 and Sufan 9. The petitioner contended that respondent Haji Athar Aziz incharge Shoba-Ghunga Markaz Al Qadsia had handed over his children to his enemies Muhammad Anwar and others later announced that they were missing from the Markaz. The court made its best efforts for the recovery of the children but failed and hence disposed of as the matter could not be kept pending for indefinite time.
