Brian D Hunt, Principal Officer, Consulate of the United States of America, has expressed delight at the initiative taken by the University to promote career awareness and guidance to students and hoped that it would prove extremely beneficial in ensuring bright future for the youth of Pakistan.
While talking to newsmen, at career carnival 2007 organised by University of Central Punjab (UCP), here on Saturday, he commented that the activity would help improve the economic condition of the youth as a whole.
Dr Fehmida Sultana, Pro-Rector of the UCP, other faculty members of the University and administrative staff members were also present on the occasion.
The carnival was a great success in helping smooth out the difficult period of ambiguity regarding careers faced by over 5,000 visitors including students, fresh graduates and alumni of UCP. An important highlight of the event was the amplified enthusiasm and eagerness displayed by visitors for self-employment schemes.
