Ever since our mutually arranged cease-fire with India, it appears that Pakistan has become a sort of a battleground. As a frontline state against terror, we are fighting terrorists in Balochistan, Waziristan, Bajaur and are confronted with extremist fighters in "Lal Masjid" and the "Jamia Hafsa" in Islamabad.
In the Kurram Agency, Pakistanis are locked in deadly sectarian battles. We as a strategic partner of the USA, its and frontline state against terror, have suffered huge losses. Despite all this, we have been dubbed as not doing enough to fight terrorism.
The neighbouring Taliban and their sympathisers are our enemies, causing us immense damage through bomb blasts, suicide attacks. Because of our faulty foreign policies, India has gained in Afghanistan. She has been showered with nuclear power plants by the United States, and Russia.
It is better late than never. We can still remove our national stresses and rectify the wrongs by inducting technocrats and educated, experienced patriots who can take the right decisions and implement them promptly.
Dozens of Federal Ministers, dozens of Minister of State and yet dozen of advisor whose advises have created chaos, and confusion, are all looking after their personal interest and those of their parties, at huge costs incurred the national exchequer.
In order to reduce the damage, we must review our foreign policy, reduce our brigade of ministers, ministers of state and advisors because too many cooks spoil the broth.
