It is indeed a matter of great pleasure for me that the Attock Group of Companies is launching another project of National importance, this time in Power Generation.
Rapid economic growth in Pakistan and resolve of the Government to take electricity to every nook and corner of the country has necessitated that power generation be enhanced to meet the demand for power.
To fill the gap between the production and demand of electricity both public and private sectors have to work hand in hand. The government has already announced Power Policy 2002 to attract investment in Power Generation.
Attock Gen Limited (AGL), whose ground-breaking is taking place today, is the first company which has come up for Power Generation under the New Policy.
I am sure that the professional management of Attock Group along with committed work force will continue to work with same zeal to fulfil national requirements in the field of power. ALL THE BEST.
