Equities witnessed broad-based erosion at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bears dominated the proceedings under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 17.86 points as the index moved from 2,588.53 to 2,570.67 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 45,61,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 41,54,200 shares. Total 122 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (62) closed in negative territory, 57 landed in plus column, whereas three stocks remained pegged to last week's levels.
The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 11,27,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 13,30,000 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 509,700 shares. The volume of BOP was 452,400 shares.
