There are chances of sighting the new moon of Jamadi-ul-Awwal on May 17, Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) said on Tuesday.
It said in a release that the predicted parameters of new moon evident that chances of sighting the Jamadi-ul-Awwal moon in Pakistan were favourable subject to clear weather conditions, and the first of Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1428 AH might fall on May 18.
