The Accor Group, after starting Grand Mercure Karachi Airport Hotel, will introduce new hotels in Pakistan ie Sofitel, Novotel and Ibis, which will provide the finest quality services to meet the clientele needs. This was stated by Grand Mercure Hotel General Manager Thierry Goepfert while briefing the media here on Thursday.
The management of Grand Mercure Karachi Airport Hotel arranged this event aimed to build best contacts with media focusing on promotional needs with the press participation in all the events.
The Grand Mercure Karachi Airport Hotel was inaugurated in March 2007 near Jinnah International Airport with English colonial architecture under the fitness of French style. The Hotel is managed by the Accor Group of Hotels - European leading company of hotels that operates in 100 countries worldwide. The Accor Group has 4,500 hotels in the world, out of which 750 are Mercure Hotels in 49 countries.
The Grand Mercure Hotel with French style interior designing is a secluded oasis in the city. It has 118 spacious rooms, including three suites in the main building with beautiful views over the garden, said Thierry Goepfert, adding: "We have three restaurants at the Hotel which are well-decorated presenting world class food; Opera Café in lobby offers refreshments, snacks and pastries round the clock; La Terrasse is all day dining restaurant which offers breakfast, buffet lunch and dinner featuring international, French and Pakistani cuisine, also a la carte and Le Jardin (Pool Bar) at the swimming pool side offers snacks and refreshments."
He said the Hotel has a fully equipped Fitness Centre, which offers Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, tennis court, kids pool and swimming pool with the most sophisticated designs. "We are going to open our banquet halls, and luxurious 50 shallots of the hotel in Phase-II from September 2007" he added.
