Acting President of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Dr Sarfraz Bashir has thanked Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Federal Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar Khan for accepting necessary demands of business community regarding Trade Ordinance Rules 2006.
Talking to media here on Thursday he added that this advancement indicates that business community is willing to cooperate with the government and believed in economic stability in the country. The impact of the decision would be positive and help in the promotion of national economy but also supportive for the betterment and credibility of trade bodies, he added.
The Acting SCCI President also appreciated the role of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and said that FPCCI in coordination with government was making hectic efforts for the improvement of national economy and for the betterment of law and order situation in the country.
He added that the FPCCI was a symbol of unity and also responsible for the continuation of trade and commerce activities, which were fully supported by all chambers of the country.
On this occasion, Dr Sarfraz Bashir also lauded the efforts of President FPCCI Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh and other office bearers for the successful dialogues on trade Ordinance Rules 2006, adding that it will not only help enhance the efficiency of trade bodies but also provide an opportunity for further strengthening national economy.
