Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Justice Abdul Razaque Thaheem (Retd) on Thursday reviewed the progress of Khushhal Pakistan Programme and construction of office building complex for the ministry. The PWD officials briefed the minister about the progress and made commitment to complete the work by July 15.
The minister was satisfied with the pace of progress and emphasised upon PWD officials to control the cost of the project and ensure that office building is completed by the stipulated date.
He was later apprised about the utilisation of funds in Khushhal Pakistan Programme and pace of physical progress on the implementation of schemes at various sites in the country. The minister instructed the Pak PWD to reduce the time period involved in issuing administrative approval so that the schemes under Khushhal Pakistan Programme are timely completed for the benefit of the public.
