Chairman Provincial Zakat Council (PZC), Justice Muhammad Akram Baittu (Retd) has formed a 4-member committee to further enhance the performance of different vocational training institutes (VTIs) running under Punjab Vocational Training Council throughout the province.
The committee will also check the standard of the training being imparted to the deserving students in these VTIs along with reviewing the problems faced by them.
This was decided in the 96th meeting of Provincial Zakat Council held under the chairmanship of Justice Akram Baittu (Retd). Besides members of the council, the meeting was attended by Secretary Zakat and Ushr, Tauqir Ahmed Faiq and Administrator Zakat Punjab, Mian Abdullah. Akram Baittu said that the newly constituted committee comprised of members of the council, including Allama Zubair Ahmed Zaheer, Dr Arif, Syed Shams-ur-Rehman Arif and Administrator Zakat Punjab, Mian Muhammad Abdullah.
