Management and Professional Development Department (MPDD) has conducted a six-week short compulsory course for the promotion of Tehsildars into Grade 17.These will be posted in various districts of the province.
The concluding ceremony of the course, which conducted from April 2 to May 12, 2007, was held here on Thursday with Rashida Malik Secretary MPDD in the chair while Punjab Minister for Management and Professional Development was the chief guest.
The faculty members and course participants also attended the ceremony. The department is capable to conduct five long-term and 20 short-term courses simultaneously. Addressing the ceremony, the minister assured that the government would facilitate all the officers so as to enable them to combat the emerging situations and future challenges.
