Two sufi priests from India go missing in Pakistan
NEW DELHI: Two senior sufi priests, Asif Nizami and Nazim Nizami from New Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah, have gone missing in Pakistan.
India is said to have taken up the matter with Pakistan's Foreign Ministry.
One of cleric went missing from Karachi while the other went missing from Lahore, INP reported.
Our staff reporter added that the Foreign Office has said it was aware of the reports about the missing Indian sufi clerics and the concerned authorities are looking into the matter.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria, the Indian High Commission in Islamabad informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the matter and requested help in the recovery of two Indian sufi priests, who are said to have gone missing in Pakistan.
