In recognition of development of IT solutions, processes and successful implementation of projects by Nadra (National Database and Registration Authority), an 'Outstanding Achievement Award' was conferred on it during Cardex 2007 held in Cairo last week.
The Cardex Conference and Exhibition has been a mainstream event for the past four years, focusing on Smart-Card applications and innovations, Biometrics, Border-Control management, e-Passports, e-Banking, Card Issuing, etc. The award was presented to Nadra Chairman Brigadier Saleem Ahmed Moeen at a special ceremony by Egypt's Minister of State for Administrative Development Dr Ahmed M Darwish, an Electrical & Computer Engineering Ph D.
