MUET audits, students feedback reviewed

Findings of internal and external quality audits, student feedback regarding teachers' evaluation and other facilities given to students in the University came under discussion at a meeting of Management Review Committee (MRC) ISO-9000, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Jamshoro.
The meeting was presided over by MUET Vice Chancellor Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan Rajput. According to a University spokesman, the 22nd MRC meeting discussed and reviewed the performance of all academic and administrative sections with a view to ensure conformity of operations as per standards of ISO-9001/2000 of Quality Management System.
The participants had detailed deliberations. Among other matters they also discussed the issues regarding feedback from departmental and faculty level management review committees, status of quality objectives 2007 along with the follow-up of actions taken in the previous meeting.
Besides, Chairpersons, Directors and Sectional Heads, the meeting was attended among other by Registrar and Management Representative (M.R.-QEC), Professor Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili, Dean Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunication and Computer Systems Engineering, Dr Muhammad Rafique Abro, Dean Faculty of Science, Technology and Humanities, Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Panhwar, Dean of Faculty of Architecture, Planning, Arts and Design, Dr Dost Ali Khawaja, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Dr Riaz Ahmed Sohag, Project Director, Ghulam Sarwar Kandhar, Director Finance, Munir Ahmed Shaikh and Director Planning and Development, Kazi Abdul Razzaq.
