A two-day international workshop organised by Comsats Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) was inaugurated on Tuesday at HEC Auditorium by Dr Muhammad Yaseen Member (Technical), Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
Addressing the occasion, he highlighted the various telecom policies, which have brought enormous growth in the telecom sector in Pakistan, says a press release.
Professor Dr Zahid Saleem, Dean Faculty of Engineering, CIIT, in his welcome address, mentioned the CIIT's commitment to import quality education in the field of Science and Technology and in particular the various engineering programme including Telecommunication.-PR
