The Karachi Port handled 114,609 tonnes cargo including 76,698 tonnes import, 37,911 tonnes export cargo and 3,153 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 50,797 tonnes dry cargo including 35,523 tonnes general cargo; 4,364 tonnes fertiliser; 4,000 tonnes coal; 000 tonnes rock phosphate; 000 tonnes rice; 6,910 tonnes cement; 000 tonnes other bulk cargo and 63,812 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Five ships namely M.T. Johar, Jeble Ali, Conti Harmony, Steela-M and Al-Wakra sailed out to sea during the report period.
Ten vessels viz Jeble Ali, PAC Antila, Oel Express, Sp 5-Eric G Gibson, Kee Lung, Split, Pacific Express, Multan, Gemini and Earth Blue are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Sp 5-Eric G Gibson, PAC Antila and Nyzdan expected to sail on Saturday, while seven vessels viz Oel Express, Overseas Primar, Multan, Atlantic Express, Empress Phoenix, Gemini and Earth Blue are expected to sail on Sunday.
One vessel viz Gallant wave is expected to sail on Monday. Three vessels viz Naftocement XI, Andria and Zahra-IV due to arrive on Saturday, while seven ships namely Oriental Rose, Hayley Nadhi, Bunga Kenari, Viking Merlin, Gallant Wave, Ducky Sapphire and Golden Lion are due to arrive on Sunday. Six ships namely Iran Tabatbaei, Mol Ability, Amasis, Pacific Champ, Spring Hummer and Iron Butterfly are due to arrive on Monday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 65,825 tonnes comprising 51,308 tonnes import and 14,517 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,603 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 25,574 tonnes furnace oil; 000 tonnes edible oil, 000 tonnes Crude oil; 8,700 tonnes coal; cement; 000 tonnes rice; 4,300 tonnes wheat; 000 tonnes chemicals and 000 tonnes general cargo and 27,251 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely M.T.Sea Lion and C.V. Lucien G.A. sailed out to sea during the report period last 24 hours. Three vessels viz C.V. MSC Saris Ka, C.V. ACX Mimosa and M.T. Regent are M.T. Shintoku is expected to sail on Thursday.
A total of five ships carrying containers, furnace oil, iron ore, chemicals and containers namely MSC Pacheco, Sea Sky, New Leader, Al-Kortoubi and MSC America are currently at the outer anchorage.
Six vessels viz M.V. Noor-e-Mustafa, M.T. Sea Lion, M.V. Sargodha, M.V. Lucien G.A. and C.V. CSAV Ningbo were occupying berths to load/offload wheat, Coal, furnace oil, rice and containers respectively during the report period. Four ships namely Al-Kartoubi, Sea Sky, MSC America and Akritas due to take berths at EVTL, Fotco Terminal and QIC Terminal respectively on Saturday.
Three vessels viz C.V. Jebel Ali, M.T. Chem Rose and M.V.Oinussian lion with containers, chemicals and coal due to arrive on Thursday, while three more ships namely C.V. CSAV Ningbo, C.V. Lucien and M.T. Warbah with containers and diesel oil are due to arrive on Friday.
