Hyderabad District Naib Nazim Zaffar Rajput has directed the management of Wasa, Hyderabad to establish complaint centers at each water distributing area to remove the water shortage complaints of citizens.
This he directed to Wasa officers while visiting different areas of the city, including Latifabad and Qasimabad towns to inspect the on-going development works and listening the problems of people specially pertaining to water supply to them.
He asked the officers that these complaint centers must be made functional for round the clock and asked MD Wasa to establish central complaint centre with telephone number to monitor the over all activities.
He also announced for establishing one complaint center within his office to receive the complaints of the citizens in case they were not responded by officers.
The naib nazim asked the officers to undertake extraordinary efforts for full supply of water especially during the summer season. He also directed Chairmen of the monitoring committees to be pro-active and put their strict vigilance over the development activities and submit their recommendations to the Council to ensure qualitative development works and deliveries to the people.
Rajput also directed the management of Wasa to examine existing pumping stations of water supply and sewer system and make the same functional and more effective along with standby generators before coming monsoon season.
