Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Deputy General Secretary Liaquat Baloch, Sindh President Maulana Asadullah Bhutto and MPAs Nasrullah Shajee, Yunus Barai and Hameedullah Khan advocate have slammed Sindh government for banning entry of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan into province and termed it a cowardly act.
In a joint statement issued here on Sunday, MMA leaders said that Sindh government and Muttahida Qaumi Movement wanted to create ethnic conflict in Karachi once again. They said that immoral chalking against Imran Khan throughout the Karachi, Hyderabad and other towns and cities has exposed the real face of those claiming themselves as enlightened people and added that this act had also degraded MQM's moral character.
They said that the government and its cronies could not stop the struggle launched for independence of judiciary and restoration of democracy in the country through such tactics.
