Around two dozen people were injured while four of them seriously injured due to stampede at the outside of Badshahi mosque here on Wednesday evening. According to details, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Abdur Rehman Al-Sudais led Maghrib prayers at Badshahi Mosque which were attended by hundreds and thousands of faithfuls from different parts of the country.
After Maghrib prayers people were leaving the mosque, an iron fence outside the mosque collapsed due to heavy rush resulting disturbance. As a result of two dozen people sustained injuries. Among the injured Aslam, Ashfaq, Laqman and Aamir are stated to be critical condition and were admitted to Mayo Hospital.
