Ambassador for Ghana, Rashid Bawa informed National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain that he expects to open his country's High Commission at Islamabad very soon. The ambassador called on the Speaker Friday morning to discuss ways and means for enhancing contacts with Pakistan, saying he was impressed with Pakistan's rapid economic progress as well as with the performance in the war against terror.
The Speaker appreciated the ambassador's desire to enhance the cooperation between the two countries and said both countries should contribute to strengthening democratic traditions in their respective countries.
