Qatar Airways on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus to purchase 80 A350 aircraft The agreement was signed in Paris by Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker and Airbus President Louis Gallois in the presence of the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the French President Nicolas Zarkozy.
Prime Ministers of Qatar and France, His Excellency Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani and Francois Fillon were also present at the ceremony at Elysee Palace. Final details of the deal will be unveiled at the Paris Air Show being held at Le Bourget next month.-PR
