Federal Director Education, Brigadier Maqsood-ul-Hassan (Retd) said the directorate has invested Rs 50 million in providing free books to students from class 1st to 10th in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) schools.
He said this while addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony of Federal Government Boys Model School G-9/1 organised by Parent Teacher Association (PTA) here on Monday. He said the directorate developed "Survey Pakistan Atlas" for students to be provided free of cost to them, adding dictionaries will also be provided free of cost to students.

Maqsood-ul-Hassan urged teachers to educate students in real context through examples by avoiding cramming learning. He also emphasised that every student could be an achiever with positive thinking, planned action and profound dedication, from the beginning.
