Citizens appreciate raise in pension

People from all walks of life have hailed 15 percent increase in the salary and 15 percent to 20 percent raise in the pension as well as increase in the minimum wage.
Talking to APP here on Saturday they said increase in the pension was particularly appreciable and this is complimented by streamlining process of pension disbursement will largely benefit the senior citizens. Rahmatullah, associated with a clinic in Soldier Bazar as dispenser said minimum wages if decided in accordance to cost of living could be extensive beneficial.
A vast majority of those approached by APP appealed that the raise announced for public sector employees must be equally applicable for private sector workers. Tahira, a factory worker said increase in salary and over time would be of great relief for her and her family. The citizens hoped that through meaningful efforts the government will ensure equal care towards quality life of all sections.
