Three children slaughtered

Unidentified killers slaughtered three children of a security guard of the Allied Bank here early Saturday morning, police said. The mother of the children Zahida, belonging to Plandri, Azad Kashmir was also attacked with knife and she was seriously injured. She was admitted to hospital in a critical condition.
According to details, the guard was an employee of the Allied Bank located in the suburb of Rawalpindi at Girja Road. The cruel murderers after slaughtering one of the children hanged his body with a stair, while other two children were hit with iron rods on their heads, which resulted in their instant deaths. Security guard Naseem Ahmad's three slain children were identified as Zubair (10), Urooj (7), and Usman, (5) years old.
The cause of the gory incident could not be immediately known. The tragic incident of triple murders has created shock and anger and panic and a sense of insecurity among the residents. The residents have strongly protested over the murders of children and demanded immediate arrests of the killers and stern punishment to them. The Police has collected evidence and started investigation after registering an FIR.
