The Enforcement Directorate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday razed 25 mud houses during its ongoing operation against encroachments and illegal built. The mud houses as well as makeshifts were razed in the Kacha Abadis of Sectors H-11, I-11, G-6, G-7 and Barri Imam.
The officials of the Enforcement directorate also directed the owners of razed illegal built to avoid reconstruction of their demolished houses. Otherwise, the officials warned them that a strict legal action would be taken against them, besides imposition of other penalties.
The anti encroachment squad also confiscated five truck load of encroachments during operation in the areas including- F-7, F-6, G-9, Aabpara, Poly Clinic, Khanna Pull, Pirwadhi and Lehtrar road. The officials also issued notices to 10 encroachers in the areas of Chakshehzad, Jaba Taili and Kurri road, besides challaning nine more encroachers.
